Customization levels

Organizations can choose the level of customization that best fits their operational needs—from fully standard off-the-shelf delivery to complete bespoke course development. Higher levels of customization require additional lead time and will have an impact on pricing, reflecting the scope of content adaptation, subject matter expertise, and development work involved.

Level 1 - Off-the-shelf

Level 2 - Light customization

Definition

Minor content or delivery adjustments

Minor adjustments to existing content (e.g., adding a local example, slight emphasis shift)
Delivery format or duration adapted slightly (e.g., condensed to fewer days, virtual vs. in-person)
Standard materials used with minor client-specific references
No change to core learning outcomes or course objectives

Example: Client requests a half-day version of Wildlife Hazard Management with local case studies added

Lead time

Standard lead time after signing (30 days) + two weeks (total ~45 days).

Level 3 - Mid-level customization

Definition

Moderate content or delivery adjustments

Moderate adjustments using client-specific materials or frameworks
Restructured session flow or blended delivery
Tailored materials with embedded client examples
Learning outcomes may be adapted or expanded slightly

Example: Client requests additional learning objectives to be covered along with regionally based case studies and examples

Lead time

Standard lead time after signing (30 days) + four to six weeks (total ~60-75 days).

Level 4 - Full customization

Definition

Major content change or new course development

Significant content modification or development of new modules
Creation of client-specific materials, case studies, or tools
Requires SME engagement and content validation and potentially co-validation from relevant committees
May alter learning outcomes, or define new learning outcomes, course objectives, or delivery method significantly
Longer lead time for design, approval, and delivery

Example: Client requests a Risk Assessment course fully tailored to their airport’s specific operational procedures
