ACI’s Federal Structure and Governance

ACI consists of its members. As of January 2022, ACI serves 717 members, operating 1950 airports in 185 countries. ACI is organized, structured, and governed in a federal manner and includes ACI World and five ACI Regional offices in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and North America respectively.  ACI World has a World Governing Board and deals with global issues, global regulatory bodies such as the International Civil Aviation Organization, and other international associations. Each ACI Regional office has a governing board that deals with the issues and regulatory bodies specific to that region.
