The ACI Global Safety Network (GSN) Diploma Program comprises six specialized courses designed to equip airport operations and safety professionals with the knowledge and skills required to develop, implement, and manage effective Safety Management Systems (SMS) and strengthen airside safety performance.

All GSN courses combine theory with practical application, using operational case studies, visual learning materials , tabletop exercises and airside group activities to reinforce key concepts and support experiential learning.
Courses are delivered by senior airport professionals with extensive experience in airport operations, Safety Management Systems (SMS) and airport certification, ensuring participants benefit from both industry expertise and practical insights.
Global Training Program Structure
Begin your journey by registering to GSN 1 – Safety Management Systems (SMS), the first course in the Global Safety Network program.
Each GSN course may be taken as a stand-alone professional certificate course or combined with the remaining GSN courses to earn the ACI GSN Diploma.

EARNING THE ACI GLOBAL SAFETY NETWORK (GSN) DIPLOMA
To earn the GSN Initial (Silver) Diploma participants must successfully complete GSN courses 1-3 within a three-year period. Courses may be completed in any order.
To earn the GSN Advanced (Gold) Diploma, participants must successfully complete GSN courses 4-6 within a three-year period. Participants must also have obtained the GSN Initial (Silver) Diploma before the Advanced Diploma can be awarded.
Participants must register for each course separately and will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully completing the requirements.
