Long gone are the days that aircraft needed to navigate using ground-based aids. Modern aircraft and air traffic management systems can collaborate to allow flights to occur in an efficient and cost-effective manner, enabling the meeting of emission targets. This course will introduce students to the concepts and principles of Performance-based Navigation (PBN) and provide a high-level understanding of how it can be used to modernize flight operations and the utilization of airspace.
