Aeronautical Studies and Risk Analysis

Professional Certificate Course,
Delivery: Classroom
Duration: 3 days

An aeronautical study is utilized at airports when the existence of non-compliances are identified and assessed following a risk-based approach to ensure that airports continue to operate safely.

This course is designed to specifically examine the use of aeronautical studies for airport operators, providing a step-by-step explanation on how they are developed, from recognizing when an aeronautical study is needed, through to identification of the issues, hazards, mitigation measures, and development of a final conclusion.

The course will be divided into two sections, with the first half of the training dedicated to classroom based instruction, which will include examples and case studies, with the remainder of the course requiring participants to develop a full study.
