Support for airports during the recovery: COVID-19
As the industry works towards a full recovery, the health, safety and wellbeing of passengers and staff remains our number one priority.
Airports have introduced many new health and safety measures to ensure that passengers feel safe and that the customer experience reflects their changing needs and expectations and addresses their concerns.
ACI World provides resources, initiatives and guidance to help airports through this time and will continue to work closely with the World Health Organization (WHO), the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and its other global partners.
ACI Airport Health Accreditation Program
The ACI Airport Health Accreditation (AHA) programme provides airports with an assessment of how aligned their health measures are with the ACI Aviation Business Restart and Recovery guidelines and ICAO Council Aviation Restart Task Force recommendations along with industry best practices.
The programme is open to all ACI member airports of all sizes in all regions.
ACI Health Measures Portal
The ACI Health Measures Portal project aims to pull together in one place the new screening measures introduced at the world’s airports. The portal will allow airports to upload their new processes so that passengers can check what they will need to do when they travel through individual airports.
