Strong of a progressive 35-year career in the aviation industry, Pierre is a senior leader with demonstrated success optimizing commercial and operational effectiveness, improving customer experience and strenghtening competitive advantage by working in close collaboration with industry stakeholders on a global scale.
He began his career at Air Canada in 1988 and held numerous positions over his 21-year tenure with the airline. He spent most of his career managing passenger experience, airport operations and international alliances.
He moved to the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) in 2009 as the regional director – service delivery, being responsible for the effective, efficient and uniform service delivery of screening operations in the Eastern region of Canada.
From 2015 to 2021, he was the Director of Passenger Experience & Facilitation at IATA, responsible to provide leadership and direction to drive the industry in improving the overall passenger experience throughout the journey, focusing on the interaction of the passenger with airlines, airports and other industry stakeholders.
He since worked at Aéroports de Montréal where is was the Director – Service Delivery, Strategies and Regulations responsible to manage and develop the Mirabel airport site (YMX) and lead regulatory compliance with Safety, Environment and Accessibility regulations for both Montreal-Trudeau and Mirabel airports.
Pierre graduated from Ecole Polytechnique de l’Universite de Montréal in 1988 as an Industrial Engineer.
